Call it confidence or anything else but our Bollywood’s perfectionist quotient dear Aamir considers the mighty Hollywood ‘Avatar’ no threat to his next most awaited ‘3 Idiots’.

Our birdie informs that Aamir has personally checked the arrangements for the premiere of ‘3 Idiots’, to be held on December 23 at a Mumbai multiplex.

Reveals an informer, “Aamir did come to the multiplex. It is a known fact that he is a stickler for perfection and was there to check the arrangements being made for the premiere. But it is a common practice with the bigger stars. Even Mr Bachchan came to the multiplex four to five times before Paa's premiere to check the place out.”

When our birdie asked the informer whether Aamir checked out the promo of Avatar, considering his passion & awareness of world cinema, informer said "He did not, he was more concerned about the arrangements for his invited guest at the premiere.”

It's been a year since Aamir Khan's last film, (as an actor) ‘Ghajini’ released. His next, ‘3 Idiots’ is due to release December 25 and Aamir is making sure that the film gets the perfect opening.

‘Avatar’ is the world’s most anticipated films of the year, but Aamir is finding it as no threat for the prospects of his ‘3 Idiots’ helmed by Rakjumar Hirani.

Only time will tell if Avatar (releasing on 18th December with 700 prints a week before 3 Idiots) has any effect on the Bollywood biggie.
